The nacelle control box manages the operation of the nacelle.  It also provides a data connection for service personnel to access the control functions from the main control center at the base of the tower.  The nacelle control box has a stop switch to stop the wind turbine from the nacelle.  There are also vibration sensors in the nacelle control box to detect any imbalances cause by such problems as icing.
