The nacelle assembly is supported on a tubular steel tower, fully protected against corrosion. The tower allows access to the nacelle via a secure hinged access door at its base. The tower is fitted with an internal ladder, rest platforms and lighting. Standard hub heights are 40, 50 and 75 meter.

AWE being a virtual manufacturer, we try to locate a suitable tower manufacture in the area of the project.  Towers must of course meet our stringent engineering specifications.
